The OBA-1 was designed for clinicians who bring anesthesia services to the patient. Whether you're rotating between dental practices, outpatient surgical suites, or office-based procedures, this unit eliminates the bulk of traditional anesthesia workstations. The self-contained design with convenient gas ports means rapid setup at every location. Each unit ships with a Penlon Sigma Delta vaporizer, two pre-filled ThermH2Osorb canisters, and 10-foot oxygen and medical air supply hoses, so you arrive ready to work.
Compact Specs, Full Clinical Capability
At 16" W x 15" H x 9.5" D, the OBA-1 fits the smallest surgery or imaging suite. Oxygen and air flow rates run 0 to 10 L/min, pressure gauges cover 0-100 psi, and the oxygen flush button delivers 50 L/min at 50 psi. A pneumatically powered oxygen failure warning system operates without electricity, and the airway pressure gauge reads -40 to +80 cmH2O. Gas supply accepts 45-55 PSI from cylinders or pipeline. Optional accessories include a carrying case with retractable handle and casters, a mobile trolley with shelf, and an MRI-compatible Penlon Nuffield Ventilator.
Where the Infinium OBA-1 Gets Used
Mobile anesthesia providers choose the OBA-1 for dental anesthesia, office-based surgery, and procedures performed outside traditional operating rooms. It's also used in MRI scan rooms (compatible within the 5 Gauss line at 0.2 to 3.0 tesla with Picker, GE, and Siemens scanners), remote hospital locations, disaster response, military field hospitals, and shipboard or aircraft environments. If general anesthesia is needed and a full OR setup isn't available, the OBA-1 fills that gap.
